Speaker: Mr Ashley Tee
Did you know that a significant number of missionaries leave the field earlier than planned? What challenges do missionaries face which cause them to return home prematurely? How can they be supported while in the field?
In this talk, Mr Ashley Tee will tell stories of the key challenges faced by missionaries that give rise to this high attrition rate. He will discuss seven retention methods and efficient structures (THRIVES model) that can help missionaries thrive in the context where they serve. He will explore how missionary senders, including churches and individuals can collaborate to become a credible and sustainable mission movement, supporting missionaries to be healthy and fruitful in their work.
