Ministry without prayer is powerless, devoid of God's presence. Your prayer support is highly valued by all of us at Wycliffe.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Chew Ngian, Aileen and their two daughters, Tammie and Tasha
Chew Ngian and Aileen Thong are members of Wycliffe Singapore, based in a South-East Asian country.
Chew and Aileen serve at a Thai linguistic foundation, where Chew heads up a multimedia unit, training ethnic minority groups and providing media support to language teams. Aileen creates teaching English resources for village teachers and teaches MKs and minority youths. Their two daughters, Tammie and Tasha, are studying in the USA.
So what is prayer to them? “We see prayer as an important activity to develop greater dependency on the Lord to lead us, rather than to depend on our own gifts or abilities. This dependency is necessary for effectiveness in the field and obedience to the Lord,” Chew Ngian said.
Pray for the Thongs
- Pray for Aileen to continue having physical strength and good health to teach and have the joy of the Lord to serve.
- Pray for Chew Ngian to have wisdom and humility to lead the local staff at the media centre as well as wisdom for the media team to engage and mobilise local Christians in using various media tools and platforms for Scripture impact.
- Pray that the local churches in the region will have a vision to use media for creative evangelism, discipleship and Bible teaching in their language communities.
